Who we are

Waldhoffer Industrial Art Studio is a specialized workshop located in Brooklyn, New York, focused on the creation of artistic stained glass, kiln-formed glass panels, ceramic wall pieces, and outdoor sculpture with metal decorative elements. Every work is designed and handcrafted by a single artisan using traditional methods that have largely disappeared from modern production. This approach ensures authenticity, full creative control, and a level of craftsmanship rarely found today.

Although based in New York, the studio accepts commissions from clients worldwide.

The studio’s primary work includes custom stained-glass windows made in both traditional lead came and Tiffany copper-foil techniques, kiln-fired glass compositions, ceramic relief panels, and sculptural pieces designed for gardens and outdoor spaces. Metal components—etched, patinated, or sculpted—are often integrated to create distinctive mixed-material artworks.

Restoration services are also available, including the conservation of glass, ceramic, and metal objects when historically appropriate. Professional experience includes work on select items associated with the court of Russian Emperor Nicholas I, rare pieces attributed to the House of Fabergé, and the preparation of antique objects for sale at Arnold (Frankfurt am Main) and Sotheby’s (New York).

The mission of the studio is to preserve and continue disappearing artisanal techniques while creating original works that combine enduring quality, material integrity, and a deep respect for the traditions of industrial art.
